Bentley BECOME Odyssey arrives on October 8, 2026 with bergamot, ginger, black pepper, tea, vetiver, sandalwood and musks. The novelty was created by Pierre Guéros and Alexandra Carlin and will be launched in a 100 ml bottle.

The combination suggests a journey that starts out luminous, gains spicy heat and ends between woods. It's a reading of the official material, not a review: the Homem Perfumado hasn't tested the perfume yet.

Two perfumers, the same route

Pierre Guéros and Alexandra Carlin sign BECOME Odyssey. The announced construction opens with bergamot oil and fresh ginger oil. In the heart, black pepper oil meets a tea accord. The base brings together vetiver oil, sandalwood accord and musks.

Tea in perfumery rarely smells only of the drink in the cup. It can bring transparency, dryness and even a silent pause between spices and woods.

The advertised construction goes from luminous freshness to a dry and creamy background.

What this combination can produce

Bergamot and ginger usually give impetus to the exit without relying on evident sweetness. Black pepper adds relief; tea can aerate the center. Vetiver and sandalwood, in turn, form an interesting contrast: one tends to dry and earthy, the other can bring creaminess.

This does not allow us to conclude how the perfume fixes or projects. Formula, concentration, dosage and behavior on the skin interfere in the result, and an olfactory pyramid does not replace the test.

A simple test to keep up with progress

When BECOME Odyssey is available, spray a ribbon and mark three moments: opening, fifteen minutes and one hour. On the first reading, look for the brightness of bergamot and the warmth of ginger. Then, observe if the tea makes the fragrance drier or more transparent. Finally, see which wood dominates: the earthy line of vetiver or the softness of sandalwood.

Price and arrival on the market

The launch was announced for October 8, 2026, in 100 ml, with an indicated price of £80 in the UK. Planned distribution includes Bentley dealers, selected beauty stores and online channels. Lalique Beauty is responsible for Bentley's fragrance portfolio.

We did not find, until October 5, official confirmation for the Brazilian market. If there is independent import, price and support can vary greatly from the original release.

Why it's worth following

The pyramid avoids easy shortcuts: it is not only citrus, nor only woody. There is an axis of tea and spices in the middle of the composition. If this excerpt appears clearly, it may be precisely what separates Odyssey from another perfume built only around freshness and wood.
